About the event
Prerequisites: This is the first step towards certification as a mediator in Virginia.
No prerequisites are required to take this course; however, please note that to apply for mediation certification in Virginia, one must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, OR request a waiver of this requirement. If you need to request a waiver, it is recommended that you do so before beginning the Basic Mediation course. If you have any questions about this process, please let us know before registration

This course is certified by the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia. However, please note that mere attendance at this training does not guarantee successful completion of the course for mediation certification purposes.
